Hold Counter to charge. Hold Ability to choose, then hold Use to pour in more Weight. T repeats · H clears · V switches hero.
Kagerō is down. The ward still burns, but it burns without him.

Off: let go at level 3 and the whole teleport combo plays out. On: each blink waits for a well-timed attack press, and a missed one ends the combo there.
Clyde fights with his modular gun instead of the blade: tap to shoot, close in for gun-fu, hold for a breaker round, R to reload (again in the gold: fast). His Counters transform the gun. In the Playground, V switches.
Cuts turn toward the enemy you're pushing at. Off: they go exactly where you face. The hard lock (middle mouse) works either way.
The composed shots in Counters. Off: the camera stays behind you.
The heroes as they were: capsule figures. Off: shadows in the shapes of their clothes, their colours only in the light.
Full-screen flashes (lightning, big hits). Turn down if they're uncomfortable.
The black-and-white frames on the heaviest moments.
Brush-pen spatters in the ink frames, thicker near the blow.
Crates, pots, vents, tile stacks, stone pillars on the roofs: your cuts, bodies sent flying and big blows break them. Takes effect on the next start.
Glass fragments, metal sparks and masonry dust. Physics and broken surfaces remain.
How many broken pieces stay on the roofs before the oldest are cleared.
The fallen stay where they fall. Past this many, the one farthest from you is cleared.
Motion blur on fast-moving bodies and blades only. The world never blurs.
How much fast bodies smear (FF7 Rebirth's kind): limbs in a swing, a dash, someone sent flying. Blades have their own slider above.
Beams of light through the rain from a heavy parry or a Counter's peak.
What fights leave on the roofs: craters where you dive, an alien's ichor where it died. How long they stay (0% is off).
The cold teal murk where only energy has colour (Fate HF). Off is the original warm dusk.
A fine moving noise over the dark parts of the picture. Off by default.
How long everything holds on a hit.
Frame time, draw calls, triangles and render scale in the top left. F3 toggles it.
Off: numbers read like data (a monospaced readout that decodes in). On: the old big slammed numbers.
A red number over your hero when you're hit.
The key reminders along the bottom.
How much the rooftops ring after the new sounds (reverb and the echo off the buildings). Lower is drier and punchier.
On (the default): the original sounds. Off: the rebuilt set (every action its own sound). Level 3's sounds and Clyde's gun are the same either way.
On (the default): sounds that come many times a second (gunfire, impacts, breaking things) are rendered once in a few takes and replayed, so a storm of them can't overload the audio and cut it out. Off: every one made live, as before.
The storm's constant hiss. All the way down turns it off.
Where a new run begins. Every fifth wave is a boss.
Lightning, debris, wind, artillery, collapses, the sniper. In co-op the host's setting counts.
Any blow that lands kills you. Parries, the Wall and the dodge work exactly the same.
Auto shows them on a phone or tablet.
Modern: seven buttons, auto combos, a context button, and help (switching sets the help below). Classic: every button, no help: the keyboard, by thumb.
Beside an enemy, holding Attack keeps cutting, and waits while they guard. Alone, holding is the charge.
Android only; an iPhone's browser can't vibrate.
Wider timing doubles the window and lets a late press count. Automatic parries for you.
When you're moving and not dragging the view, it eases in behind you.
Tap Hook and it bites the best thing ahead (an enemy, your partner, a ledge). Off: hold to aim with the view.
Lower for smoother frames on a phone. Auto: phones start sharp (up to 2× pixels, with antialiasing) and step down only if frames run long.
Your basic attacks can hit your partner (at half damage). The host's setting counts. Also in the co-op panel (F2).
How loud your partner's moves are on your machine. Sitting side by side you hear their laptop too.
